What does it cost?
Entry to the festival is free. Rides and refreshments extra good.
Where can I park?
There is parking on the festival grounds as well as parking lots along US-62 in Eden.
Parking supports the local community groups like the Boys and Girls Club and the Eden PTA.
There is some free parking if you don't mind the walk. Support local groups and save your
energy for the festival, you will be glad you did!
Is there handicap parking?
Yes but parking is limited. Ask the parking attendant where the
handicap area is located.
Who profits from the festival?
Our community! The festival is non-profit in nature directed at helping
community groups fund raise for the comming year. Community groups such as
the Boys and Girls Club of Eden, Eden Baseball Club, Eden PTA, Volunteer Fire Departments, and Churches raise money by taking
care of the parking lot and selling food at stands within the festival grounds.
And of course we do hope that the vendors you visit also make a profit and come back
again in future years.
What is at the festival?
Entertainment of all sorts. From amusement rides to games of chance.
From Ice Cream to Fried Green Tomatos, Hot Dogs to well you name the food
and you will probably find it. But above all else, save room for the best
and sweetest corn on the cob in the world! I recommend arriving before
lunch and staying
until after dinner, that way you will be able to try more then one of your
favorites.
